Leveling to 100

Players will be given a choice of being able to grind and kill mobs in either Miren Valley or Nanzhou. Miren Valley will seem like any other zone with no restrictions of buffs they can use while Nanzhou prevents players from wearing Shelter Charms. Both zones players will be able to grind from 80 to 100. Both zones will also have access to a Daily Bonus Objective which will consist of kill a certain amount of mobs and Daily School Quest. There will not be the traditional duplicate quest or wisdom token quest as previous levels. This expansion players will get the majority of their experience from grinding mobs.

Besides from not being able to use Shelter Charm, Nanzhou will reward players with more experience, coins and reputation because of the threat of not being able to use a shelter charm. The bonus experience, coins and rep will not make it game altering or give a greater advantage over those that choose to grind in Miren Valley for end game content. It will most likely mean someone might hit level 100 earlier than someone in Miren Valley but they also have to deal with the chance that they're caught up in PvP constantly.

Nanzhou also prevents players from entering that map using teleportation items like Location Talisman, Team Bell, Wedding Ring and Landmark. To enter the map you will have to talk to NPC that applies a debuff that prevents you from gaining the Shelter Charm Buff while inside of Nanzhou. You will also have to talk to the NPC to leave Nanzhou to remove the Shelter Charm Debuff.

Miren Valley and Nanzhou will not have Zhuansong Stone's allowing players to teleport to various locations on those maps. We have decide to go forward with this change because we want to give mounts a use again. Players will be able to teleport to other players in Miren Vally and use other teleportation items.

Daily Dungeon Quest will be available for Taijiang Garden (85-94) and Nine Chambers of Hell (95-100) but the experience from these quest will not be as great but will reward you with World Reputation and a Currency item that will have various uses.

Skills

Each skill will be getting two upgrades this expansion. The first upgrade will come at 85 and the second at 100. It's unknown at this time if the current and previous ranks of skills will remain unchanged or will be adjusted to match the changes coming for the new upgrades. No other information is available at this time for skills and is open for discussion on discord in the section that pertains to each class.

General Changes

These are changes that will be happening to various parts of the game that don't have a specific area to be talked about.
  • All current gear, weapons, trinkets, rings, and amulets will only be able to be equipped up to level 99. If you have the item equipped and hit level 100 you'll still have the item on but you will also be severely underpowered compared to the new items available in game. This change is being implemented to prevent certain buffs from being accessed that could create balancing issues.
  • Tai Yi Pill, Shen Zhi Elixir, Life Essence Pill and Mana Essence Potion will stop working at level 100.
  • Shelter Charms will no longer take up a visual buff spot and will be a hidden buff but with an effect that shows the player has a shelter charm activated.
  • Battle Charms will stop working at level 100.
  • The Archaeology NPC that sells items will be having changes made to it. The shelter charm that is sold from that NPC will have a level cap of 99 placed on it. At level 100 players that wish to use Shelter Charm will have to purchase it from Item Mall or another source in game.
  • The Daily Shelter Charm will be given up to level 99 in Imperial City.
  • There will not be any type of kung fu notebook available this expansion at this time.
  • All previous experience gems and kung fu notebooks will be usable up to level 80.
  • All current gear, weapons, amulets, trinkets and rings in game will be able to be destroyed for useful materials in the expansion.
  • All of the current crafting and collection materials that you're able to get in game will have uses for the different professions.
  • The Daily Fortune Box and the items in the Fortune Box will not be changing along with the items from the current treasure boxes.
  • A new daily reward at level 100 will start a quest that will grant players a small amount of gold every hour they're online.
  • Gold will be having many more uses in game besides being used in the Item Mall.

Professions

In this expansion we will be using a profession system to divide up what a player is able to contribute to others. Players will have the choice between the following professions: Enchants, Inscription, Alchemy and Tailoring. Players will only be able to pick one of these professions. There is a 5th profession for Cooking. Players will be able to pick only one profession. It is unknown at this time if players will be able to unlearn a profession to pick a new one but it is something we plan on allowing.

Enchanting

The new gear and weapon system is focused almost entirely around enchanting. These players will be able to create scrolls that allow players to enchant a piece of gear with a specific buff of the players choice on a piece of gear. Each piece of gear will have a different selection of enchants that they can pick from none of which can be duplicated on another piece of gear. There is not any refining that will take place during the enchanting process.

Enchants have 3 ranks for each enchant. Players can enchant a piece of gear starting at level 90 for rank 1, level 95 for rank 2 and then rank 3 at level 100. The higher the rank of enchant the more powerful the enchant is. The current enchants that will be available are as follows:

Alchemy

Players that pick Alchemy will be able to create flask and potions along with balms for healing. Flask and Potions will be powerful buffs that a player can use for a period of time to increase or provide a unique buff. Alchemy will be the main source for balms to heal health and mana.

Tailoring

Players that pick Tailoring will be able to create items to create upgrades for fashions along with creating new self made fashions that are unique to the tailoring profession.

Gear and Weapons

The theme of this expansion - The Seven Deadly Sins, comes into play with the selection of your gear and weapons. Each class will have 7 sets of gear and weapons they can choose from. Each set will be themed around a specific sin: Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth, and Wrath. Starting at level 85 players will be able to use a token to get a basic piece of gear or weapon in any of the 7 sets. These tokens will be very useful for creating other pieces of gear so you're able to enchant a new piece. Gear that is already enchanted can't be enchanted again and can only be disenchanted into some materials to be reused. Any player can enchant or disenchant a piece of gear but only an enchanter can create the scrolls that are required to enchant a piece of gear.

The basic tokens will be able to drop from World Bosses or Instance Bosses.

Preview of the Weapon and Gear Sets will be available soon.

At level 100 you'll be able to equip a Rank 3 Enchanted piece of Gear. Rank 3 Gear also comes with Class Effects when you have all 5 equipped.

Relics

Relics will be able to be upgraded to rank 100 in this expansion, increasing their stats and the activation chance of their buff. Some relics are having their effect adjusted if they're to weak or to powerful.

As of right now Master Kai's Fan Relic is being changed from Sealing Release to Holy Shield type of activation because it made the fan class to powerful in PvP.

Rebirth System

Once players reach level 100 they will be able to start a new journey with the Rebirth Quest. Players will continue to gain power while killing mobs and gaining a unique scroll, required to advance your Rebirth Quest. Once you being the quest you'll receive a Rebirth Charm which will increase your Max Health, Max Mana, Attack, Defense, Spirit, Movement Speed, Critical and Dodge by 1 every level. Hit, Damage and Armor will increase by 1 every 20 levels. The more the player grinds the stronger the player will get. Each time they reach the required amount of scrolls needed for the new rank they will receive an upgraded Rebirth Charm to reflect the new stats.

Countries

As it has said in game players that have over 200k reputation in their country will be dropped down to 200k reputation. However before the expansion is released I plan to release a patch that will change the personal country buffs into charms that can be used without having to return to the NPC each time. It will then be up to the players to spend the country reputation on these items before the expansion has been released.

A new reputation quest will be available in place of what is in game now.

Country Invasions and Foreign Invasions will be upgraded to award items that will be useful in professions along with awarding World Reputation which will be the main reputation you earn this expansion.

The country war will have ways to prevent the use of invisibility charms while on that map.

World Quest

When players reach level 100 the world quest will now be accessible to them in Miren Valley and Nanzhou. Each day they will be presented with a different set of quest they can complete. In Choujiatan at the daily reset they will be able to get 10 World Quest Tokens allowing the players to complete 10 World Quest each day. There is a chance to get more World Quest Tokens from World Bosses or Reward NPC's. Some quest may have a specific limit that you can do that day while others won't. Each day the quest the various NPC's offer will change. Professions will also have daily world quest but these will not require a World Quest Token. World Quest will reward players with coins, reputation, currency item and other items.

PvP Seasons

Each Month on the 1st a new PvP Season will begin. Players will fight and kill each other but the player with the most kills each month will win a unique reward only able to got from this event. Kills will only be recorded that are level 100 vs level 100, any player that is below level 100 will not be recorded. Players will also be able to see who is in the lead on the website with a new ranking page showing who they killed and when and any other information we think might be useful.

Bonus Loot

Each Sunday players will be able to get talk to an NPC and purchase up to 3 Reroll Coins which can be used to get a chance at receiving another piece of loot that is specific to that boss they have killed. Anyone in the team will be presented with the dialog window asking if they want to use a reroll token or pass. If you use a token you will have a chance at getting something that can drop from that boss but you can also get coins, gold, or nothing. You'll be able to purchase these tokens with Coins, Gold or World Reputation. These items are bound and will only be useful during this expansion.
